or do I have to get it dry cleaned?

Thanks

I wash mine by hand with the wool mix stuff from Lakeland.

Either do it by hand with woolite in luke warm water or stick on a woollens cycle in the machine with the lowest speed spin you can. I did mine and it was okay (mine was covered in baby sick)

thanks - will give it a go and the give my lovely pashmina the respect it deserves (was a good wedding though )

it depends on what sort of quality the pashmina is.
if its like my pink one, then stick it in the usual coloureds lot
if its like my grey one. dry cleaners and prayers.

Label on mine says dry clean only, if that helps?

I've washed them successfuly in the machine on a 30 degree wash with ecover. However, If it's the first time you've washed it, I wouldn't risk it in the machine ( because I shrunk my fave one in a 40 degree wash by mistake).

Dissolve some soap flakes in hot water, then add lots of cold water & soak in there. To remove the beer stains, good idea to soak in cold water first to loosen them.

thank you all - still haven't got round to doing it though. Do you think I should put it in a pillow case if I machine wash it?
Thanks

what about one of the net laundry bags ? it will probably be ok loose - but DON'T put anything with velcro in with it

Tommy · 22/09/2005 14:55

my net bags are not quite big enough - have tried them already!
