QueenOfQuotes · 19/09/2005 23:55

ermmm post?????

Caligula · 19/09/2005 23:55

No - lurk!!

eidsvold · 20/09/2005 00:00

yes - having said that dd1 has a parking permit but we do not get the parking for free - just means that she is able to use the spaces due to her circumstances. BUT dh and I are in the financial position of being able to pay for the parking iyswim. Here in Aus they have two tiered parking for people with disabilities. Those who have a physical impairment that is permanent - ie are in a wheelchair - BLUE BADGE

, people who have a temporary disability ( iyswim - not sure what that would be) that may last 12 months or so - not sure what that would be - OR have no road sense due to an intellectual impairment, unable to walk a certain distance without having to stop or making their condition worse - RED BADGE

DD1 has a red badge - and it means we can park in any disable dparking spot that is off the street BUT we still have to pay if it is paid parking. BLUE BADGE - any disabled parking spot - on or off street and do not have to pay.

hunkermunker · 20/09/2005 00:01

Right, now I have done that, I'm going to move onto disabled people. Maybe I could nick Aloha's post for starters. I'm not witty enough to think of one of my own

Who made the 'ruck on Babyworld' post again? It's not a dig, don't worry but for ages I couldn't work out why it seemed a bit chilling and then it hit me..it was like watching that David Attenborough programme that was the first to film chimps going out to hunt for monkey meat. Gave me a shiver down my spine, it did
