I spilt a drink on my computer keyboard on friday and it hasnt worked all weekend. It has started working again today but all the buttons keep sticking down. How can I clean it? Is it worth it or shouuld I just buy a new keyboard? Any help is very much appreciated.

oh dear. I've done this a few times, always with cappucinos. The sticking just gets worse and worse. Time to bury the old keyboard and buy a new one I'm afraid....

I've done it too. I had to buy a new keyboard too. They're not that expensive luckily but don't do what I did and go for the very very cheapest (think it was £2 or something) - it's a false economy since the keys are tiny and some are in a different place or are a different size etc. You should be able to get a decent one for under £20 though.

Oh fio2, how frustrating! I got mine from ebuyer who were efficient and cheap. Not sure if there's a phone no - I couldn't place an online order at first since I couldn't even get my keyboard to work enough to type my address etc.

yippee I have got a brand new keyboard now actually I didnt realise they were so cheap.

Actually you can clean keyboards. Just make sure you disconnect them from the computer before cleaning and dry thoroughly (with hairdryer) before reconnecting. Unscrew the keyboard to clean it.
