So, who is famous?

Was just reading the "what if you were discovered" thread, and I thought that if I was famous, Mumsnet would be a great place to be, no-one knows who you are, you can ask all those embarrassing questions and say all those silly things, and The News of The World never finds out.

So, what do you reckon?

Is Codswallop actually Posh?

Is Aloha really Jools Oliver?

What name does Jo Brand use? Cherie Blair? Jordan?

i'm really posh!!
i only say my dd's are dd's to throw u all off the scent. actually u know i could be, my kids were born at the right times, dd2 (or is she a he) was born on the 1st sept 2002.

codswallop · 17/08/2003 21:48

I am obv as thin as her. My dh reckons half of you are blokes...

lou33 · 18/08/2003 11:24

I still think Seagull is Davina McCall.

WideWebWitch · 18/08/2003 12:52

I've often wondered if any of us are famous. I agree, I'd have thought mumsnet was the perfect place for famous mums to ask questions in complete anonymity. Don't reckon Cherie has time, Jordan would stand out a mile if she was here (but only if she mentioned her baby was blind and other distinguishing features I suppose) mmm, Jo Brand could be here I suppose, hasn't she got 2? I reckon Posh asks her mum most things and Madonna asks her nanny though so don't think they're here.

SoupDragon · 18/08/2003 14:54

Madonna's nanny might be though

easy · 18/08/2003 14:56

Um, I appeared on radio 2 last saturday, does that count?

easy · 18/08/2003 14:56

and Yes, I'm old enough to enjoy listening to Radio 2

jasper · 18/08/2003 19:57

Easy are you Mark Lamarr? I thought you were unnecessarily rude about Allan Tichmarch

motherinferior · 19/08/2003 12:30

Don't think Madonna ever lets a childcare related thought pass her brain, does she? I rather suspect that a disproportionate (I haven't spelled that right, went on writing it for about 10 mins) number of us are journalists.

Coddy, has your dh actually read some of the postings about blokes, though?

allatsea · 19/08/2003 12:38

I was wondering which famous person would make the best poster girl/person for Mumsnet. I'm presently torn between Nigella and Miss Trunchball (aspiration versus reality)

oliveoil · 19/08/2003 12:42

Nigella can post only if she ties that damn hair back when she cooks.

Boe · 19/08/2003 12:45

Melinda Messenger - she is real pretty and seems like a great mum.

Davina McCall otherwise.

Nigella Lawson has questionable hygeine all that licking fingers malarky would not go on in my house!!

oliveoil · 19/08/2003 12:48

Kate Moss. Oh to be stylish whilst pregnant. And her daughters name is simlar to my daughters sort of, the copy cat.

Boe · 19/08/2003 12:57

Apparently she is gonna pose nude for a mag - no touching up either (of her body I mean!!)
