help- advice needed!

im gonna tell my mum that its not working with her living here anymore as she is getting very difficult atm with literally everything and it getting me down.. but ive told DP and we both agree as it was getting to the point where the baba was getting all upset cos of me and mum arguing (me nad DP dont argue in front of baba at all)..

I say a month but Dp say 2 months as she now got a full time job and its not easy finding a rented house!

Why don't you say a month, then be generous and extend it if she hasn't found one by then? Might help smooth things a bit too, if you're seen as understanding her situation?

Presumably she knew it would be temporary when she came to stay ? It doesn't have to take that long to find a rental, as long as she can afford a private one and afford deposit and rent in advance. Most agents would have online listings so you coudl help her assess wgat and where she coudl afford to look.
