Well, maybe just battery....

What's the worst that can happen if you put zinc chloride batteries in a toy when it says use alkaline or Ni-Cd (whatever that is)?

I thought batteries where batteries and all that mattered was size .

Asked DH - he says that alkaline and Nickel Cadmium are for things that require a high power output, so if you put ordinary ones in then they'll last no time at all.

Thanks alot - my next problem is that I wrapped the present up without seeing what SIZE batteries I need to buy. Bugger!
