My son is 6 years old and has recently started Beavers. He has been given a number of badges and I haven't got a clue where to sew them on his jumper?
The Beaver leader did quickly point and show me but can I remember....No!
Can anyone advise??

If you go to the website there is a sheet you can print off that shows you where they go. I will try and find a link

ChasingSquirrels · 01/11/2010 14:12

she should have given you a print of where they go, like this

Eglu · 01/11/2010 14:13

Here it is badge postioning

ChasingSquirrels · 01/11/2010 14:15

while we are on this, the one I linked to shows both 1 & 2 yr joining in badges, do you put them all on?

ds has just moved upto cubs so everything has to go on the new uniform, but he also just got his 2 yr badge so I was just going to but that on, rather than 1 & 2.

You replace the 1 year badge with the 2 year badge normally. :) Then sew the 1 year badge on to the camp blanket!

www.scoutbase.org.uk/library/clipart/uniforms/un-cl-bea.gif

The rectangular (usually) ones are county and district and go on his right arm. Colony name tape goes above these.

Activity badges (round ones) go on his left arm.

The membership badge is the one he will have got at investiture - round and purple - goes on left chest.

ummm. So when you say "replace" - am I now thinking gluing them on as I cant sew wasn't such a great idea.....
