Halloween - Saturday or Sunday?

As Sunday is a school night for many (and it'll take hours to climb down from sugar rush), will most people be trick-or-treating on Saturday instead?

Nope.

Ds will be going ut between 6 and 7.30. It will be dark early 'cos the clock's go back on Sunday.

Sunday here.

Would it be OK to actually go out before dark or not do you think?

Also do people go to stranger's houses or just houses they know?

PaisleyPumpkin · 28/10/2010 23:01

It's going to be dark pretty early anyway with the clocks going back.
We mostly go to houses of people we know, but sometimes others if they've got pumpkins/decorations outside or on view.

Sunday for us. DS and his cousins are off school on Monday (half term) and my uncle is holding a big kid's party for them all on Sunday evening. I might DS trick or treating earlier in the day if other kids around here are doing it.

When I was driving to the supermarket at 6.15 this evening it was already dark - so that would be 5.15 on Sunday [hsad] (.....I am not a supporter of the clocks going back to GMT)
