But if your teacher is any good - s/he should go over it til you've got it

Doesn't seem to be too bad. If you have a sense of rhythmn you should be ok. All the moves are taught in blocks of 7 in his classes as well.

MY DH teaches and normally says you need to be able to count to eight and know your left foot from your right foot to learn how to dance.

I asked him about Salsa and he said "same but wiggle your bum a bit"

Love it DH and I used to go together, v. good for ones sex life!
