Lansac, Bordeaux

I know some MNers are from Bordeaux and wondered if anyone knew Lansac. My ds's class will be studying this village in French/Geog this year and I would quite like to give him a head start to boost his confidence. So, tell me, whats it like?

Sorry can't find much info on it, apart from a couple of wine guides and the fact that a lot of people from Lansac are single and looking for love!

It's quite near us, but we've never been. Try ggglimpopo, perhaps you could CAT her? She would probably know more as she's been here longer. And if she doesn't, she'll know someone who does!
