Hello
Has anyone had a course of this treatment and if so how many treatments did you need to remove all the hair. I am trying to work out
(a) if I can afford it and
(b) if it really works.
Thanks

I've had it. Started off with a laser treatment, but the salon changed machines to IPL after a couple of sessions.

Not sure how many I've had in all - had to stop treatment when I got pregnant last year, but must be something like 6 or 7 sessions I think.

Had it on lower half of leg - still get some hairs growing, but only little patches, and they are much softer and lighter than before, so just whip a razor over them briefly probably once every 3 weeks or so.

It is expensive, but well worth it if you have the money IMO.

Thanks Tabs. It is 1/3 of the price out here (am in Cyprus until next Jan) which is why I think I should try and find the money now while I am here. I am glad you say it reduces the hair even if you don't finish the course as this would be good for me too I think.

Ooh - at cheap prices!

I'd get started soon though if you're back in Jan - you need to leave about 8-10 weeks between appointments, so if you start now you should manage to get about 3 in.

Yes, this is part of the problem which is why I was glad you said a few treatments had some effect! The lady here is excellent and seems very professional. She is also only over the road from me . I think I will go for it. I just want my upper lip and bikini line blitzed as I don't mind shaving my legs etc as it is part of my shower routine now. Somethings are worth investing in lol. Thanks again.

Had my first treatment last week at No+Vello in London and was really impressed. The staff were really friendly and explained that I would need about 6-8 sessions for my tummy and bikini line and about 10-12 for my upper lip and chin. Seems a lot but they said you do see the results even after the first treatment as the hairs that do grow are much finer and tend to break off!!

I was suprised that it didn't hurt as I've been used to the agony of waxing for years. Only felt a ping on my bikini line and I jumper when she did my upper lip only because the light was so bright.

They do men as well, so thinking of getting my fella's hairy back done - it's equality after all and time he was fuzz free too....
Good Luck and go for it I say

I am getting my bikini line done, had my second treatment and can see a result already. I am having six sessions - one a month for six months. Saks were doing it half price which seemed like a bargain altho it is still £££. My friend had three sessions and said that was sufficient. Agree its not really painful, the anticipation is the worst bit. If you can afford it get it done - IME the bikini line tends to extend as you get older!
