EBay lottery win - is it real?

I've had an email from eBAY Lotteries telling me I've won and I just don't know if it's real or not?! I don't use EBay very often, but have bought a few things. I just had a quick look on the EBay site and couldn't see any mention of a lottery, so I'm not sure how to find out if this is real or not! I imagine it's just a scam, but wouldn't like to miss out on the money if it was real! Probably just being very naive here.

Does anyone else know about this?

If you send a copy of the email to [email protected] they'll let you know if it's genuine. If they are asking you to click through to a link, or input any of your details I'd avoid tbh.

never heard of it, so I suspect it's a scam. Try forwarding the email to [email protected] and see what they say.

anyone else had the paypal ones - so and so has deposited funds in your paypal account

yes, I've had loads of those- to my work email address, that I've never used for Paypal.

Shame - it would have been nice to win 1,000,000 euros . Thanks v. much for the email address, I will forward it on to the spoof ebay address.
