I'm sure most of you are on Twitter, but I'm not very savvy with this. So far I just follow but some of it I don't understand. How do you reply on the trending topics and what's with the hash symbol. Anybody give me an idea on a how to lesson on Twitter.

if you click on a trending topic it takes you too all the recent tweets with about that topic

the hash symbol is called a hash tag, i use it for when im watching something like the x factor, when i tweet about it ill put #xfactor so other people will see my tweet if they search it, iykwim
