Writing Novels

Don't know f this is the right place, newbie here and it's my first post :)
During all the long nights awake I've been writing a novel and just finished it! Wondered if anybody else had done similar

Oh how wonderful! When is it going to be in the shops?

A very good friend of mine wrote a novel last year but couldn't find a publisher. Seems they're all wanting Dan Brown 2 or Footballer's memoirs!

My friend has just had her book accepted with Mirador publishing. She'd been trying for a year to find somebody. I've only ever written poetry and I'm not sure I'd ever want anybody to read it!

I am working on one. Dont know how anyone can actually finish one. Very impressive.

Yes. Have had a few published. Riven is right- It's no way to make money (but it's very satisfying!)

Congratulations! They say we all have a book in us. I wish mine would come out! Must be an amazing feeling. Wishing you all the best with it.

You need lots of self-motivation and discipline to write, don't you? This is why I'll never achieve my dream.....

I really hope that one day I will be seeing my book on the shelves (even if it's just a self-published one on my own book shelf).

Hi mistressploppy! It's called The Prophecy by Sarah Luddington. Paranormal romance, I think it's fantastic (I've been paid to say that! :) ). Not sure when it's out though. Fairly soon I think. I'll send you a link when it's out.

There's somebody advertising in the classifieds. Belvedere publishing, they say they're wanting new authors. Don't know how it works though, all I've ever written is a shopping list!
