WOOO!!! I Shadowed a Midwife :D

Hey!!
I finally got to shadow a midwife today!!! It was sooooo cool :D

Start nursing training in 2 weeks, then in 3 yrs I can start training as a midwife!! Woooo!!!!

I am thinking of applying for midwifery when I have stopped reproducing

No, if only there was!!!!!

I would really like another baby (at least one more) though

Since we moved here in May and upped our mortgage we are going to see how the finances are for the next year and all being well try for another baby when J is two.

I really am interested in midwifery but would not embark on the course until my youngest is in school full time.

The nursing course was not too bad to get on to.. I think I was lucky. Re midwifery I wish i'd followed my gut instinct and done that for 3 yrs not the other route!

Thanks! Good luck in the future with becoming a midwife - even after one shift I KNOW I'd love doing it full time :D The guy who's wifes delivery I watched kept thanking me lol all I did was watch
