Wot no broadband??

We're just about to move to a new house that is in the 1% of the country that BT considers to be unviable for broadband ... just wondered if anyone had any tips/suggestions of a good non-broadband provider. Our previous experience of non-broadband internet access (with virgin) was hellish but we've decided we can't abandon the move just because we can't get broadband!

Any tips gratefully received...

Mmm - have looked at satellite but don't understand it and it looks v expensive - can you use the same satellite dish as for e.g. Sky??

what about cable tv with broadband

No cable either... its rural but not that remote - we only live 5 miles from there now and can get broadband here...
