search the archives, I remember somebody with the same problem who got a lot of bad and good advice about it, though at the end, she succeeded

Spontex do a magic eraser thing (2 small white sponges in a pack) which get rid of most things. Sainsburys sell them and maybe Tesco too

It will rub off of it's own accord over a couple of weeks. Or you could try one of those 'eraser' thingies, i think Flash do one, it shoul dbe with all the cleaning stuff in the supermarket. I've used Flash bleach spray on my pale leather sofa and am yet to suffer any hideous markings or stainings as a result.

We had this problem on our old settee and I used baby wipes which faded the mark. After a few times, it disappeared completly.

i say hairspray, used it on my last leather cream suite and it was great.

SPARKLER1 · 07/09/2005 16:04

Someone told me hairspray works. I haven't tried it myself.

Be careful with hairspray though as it can dull the leather. If that does happen though rub a bit of vaseline into it and it should come back up.
