time to retrain - any ideas?

my daughter is about to start school and my son nursery school - I have the prospect of two hours a morning to myself - I am tempted to go to the gym and visit nail bars, but I can't really afford this lifestyle adn I know it will bore me pretty quickly too. I feel I should take the opportunity to re train, or update my skills. i have no real proper trade skills (previous job as a BBC researcher) and would love to find work locally, ultimately. any ideas on what I could do usefully with the odd morning free?

do you have a knowledge of I.T?
Maybe do a computer course?

Might be an idea to look in the local newspaper jobs section for ideas about what opportunities there are in your area - cut out any that look interesting, and research what skills would be required for them. You could do a bit of voluntary work as a route into paid work in the future? Or you could sign up for some open university courses maybe?
