tallulah · 06/09/2005 17:55

Yesterday it was 93.5 for petrol and 98.9 for diesel. That was at the cheap garage, so heaven knows what it's like elsewhere.

Passionflower · 06/09/2005 18:14

Tortington · 06/09/2005 19:36

does anyone know how this would affect company policy when paying out car milage?

Tortington · 06/09/2005 19:36

does anyone know how this would affect company policy when paying out car milage?

Tortington · 06/09/2005 23:56

guess not - i shall ask work!

Janh · 07/09/2005 00:01

Hasn't affected DH's, custy - he still gets the same rate. OTOH once they do put it up, if the price ever goes down again (has been known in the dim & distant) it does take them equally long to catch up with that.

2 garages here - 97.9 & 99.9 at both and has been for a few days. I passed one tonight which isn't usually cheaper than ours selling at 94.9 & 97.9, which confirms my susp that the local ones are making hay

lou33 · 07/09/2005 00:08

In the States they are complaining at paying $3 a gallon

munz · 07/09/2005 07:49

they recon if TB/GB don't drop fuel tax by next weds they'll start strikin. I did tell work thou once it hits £1.00L i'm not paying it, so therefore won't be going to work - she laughed and didn't think I was serious, Might well have to start doin some form of car share/ pool.

nikkie · 07/09/2005 21:38

89.9 round here asda/tesco/morrisons, and I'm back at schol now so travelling again
