why is it - after doing a pile of ironing with upteem shirts, I'm almost at the end and thinking of leaving the rest but think - no, you might as well finish - I get to the last shirt ironed most of it, last little bit - nice stain that didn't come out in the wash! what a waste of time!

it's screwed up in a little ball in the corner of the room

You have to learn to live in circles as well as straight lines! I struggle with it too!

Sods law is opening a bottle of wine at 11 in the morning, your neighbour walking past, seeing you pour a glass out, then giving you a dissaproving look. I was making f'ing gravy for a delayed sunday lunch.

I believe you fairyfly

She only ever touches gin in the mornings.

erm, surely it's a clean stain, though...if I'd ironed it, I wouldn't screw it up and throw it in a corner, I'd wear it!

fairyfly · 05/09/2005 13:10

Only a third of a bottle left of yours now, we have all had a glass, it's lovely. When i say we all, i mean my friends, not my household.

tissy · 05/09/2005 13:10

that one won't wash, fairyfly, surely the lunch wasn't delayed at 11am!

fairyfly · 05/09/2005 13:12

Well delayed as in its cooking now, not Sunday.
