What can I do for my 30th birthday ?

Hi, I will be 30 in november and I'm thinking of having a party. I've looked at some holiday cottages through the national trust as i liked the idea of hirering a big cottage or country house with a lovely open fire etc so that we can all get together and some can stay the night if they like. All the cottages I've seen though are not cosy and full of charm, they seem quite cold and modern inside.

I'm not sure what else we could do? My house isn't big enough for everyone and it'd be nice to have it somewhere different anyway.

I don't like the idea of just going to pubs etc I'd like it to be just our guests somewhere cosy and full of charm where we can just be ourselves.

Does anyone have any ideas or could you recommend somewhere like this, or something simillar? Thanks.

I had a baby on my 30th, can really reccommend it.

Have you tried Hoseasons? They have some really nice cottages.

Landmark trust has some big gaffes, and you can hire out entire youth hostels (much cheaper) - some of them are gert lush.

I would love to have another baby for my 30th, but I don't think it'll happen.

Also, I don't particulally want their kids comming as we'll be drinking etc. I want it to be an adult party. My daughter and her best friend will be there, but they are only 5 and will be in bed by 7pm. (I hope!)
