Boil vinega or rhubarb in them for half an hour.

Biological washing powder and soak over night

Fairy Powerspray? Or a wire "scrubber" and lots of elbow grease!

waterfalls · 02/09/2005 18:14

Awire srubber will scratch the pans, use a nylon scrubber.

lots of salt in a bit of water and leave overnight works too

Have just read in a magazine, that pouring coke into the saucepan and leaving to soak for a couple of hours should work.

Add warm water to the pan, add several tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda and boil until the scorched bits loosen and float to the surface.

use either Spotless or Astonish household paste. Spotless is made by JML and you can get it from Woolworths. Astonish can be bought in Semi-Chem or other discount retailers. You can buy tubs of them and they are great for burnt on food, marks on pots, pans, etc.

Fairy Powerspray is magic. Honest, it's all you need.
