salad nicoise made with fresh tuna steaks and with green beans, toasted pinenuts and 8 minute eggs (hardboiled, but creamy rather than totally dry yolks, best delia tip ever), anchovies and capers etc.

followed by cheese

ds will have fresh tuna and mashed potato and courgettes (he can't eat egg)

Leek and bean stew, with brown rice. Made loads last month, bunged in freezer, so I just have to remember to take it out of the freezer...erm, this morning.

I was planning on roast chicken, but last-minute decision to go to the PILs tomorrow means that I don't want any leftovers, so I'm being all brave and trying something new: poussins. I'm assuming that I can treat them the same as chicken!

I couldn't be bothered cooking tonight so on the way home from nursery I told dd we were having a picnic in the park for tea and she could buy whatever she wanted from the local shop to eat. She chose a packet of smoked salmon, some tiger prawns, turkish delight and a Green and black's chocolate ice cream!!!
