How much do launderettes charge?

Hi, my tumble dryer has finally packed up. I was thinking of using the tumble dryer at the launderette until we get a new one.
Does anyone know how much it costs for each load of washing to be dried? I also need to know what coins to take, do they give change etc.

My local one costs about £3 for 20 minutes or something daft.

Some will sell you 'tokens' to use in their machines, but you can't really go far wrong with a pocket full of pound coins.
