I decided to register on AOL to get a free month on anytime access. Registered fine, but have spent hours trying to get the software to work. It seems to log on okay, and I can read my emails, but I can't get onto any webpage at all - nothing happens I have had to go back to payasyougo and good old internet explorer just to get mumsnet. ANyone help?

AOL does tend to hijack your PC a little.

there should be a topic on AOL help for this - type in keyword 'help' or look on AOL help on the top menu bar?

Believe me, I'm regretting it now...the trouble I had trying to get on without AOL taking over...I wouldn't mind so much if only I could use it !!!

I had loads of trouble but there was a helpline which was great, and it was free! Is there any number like that in your pack? In the ens I had to move my pc to another room as the signal wasn't strong enough- too many phone lines in my house.
