my friend had got the telewest tv email, can i send her a email from my computer or had it got to be same as hers?

You can send e-mail from anywhere as far as I know. We have the NTL TV e-mail and you can get e-mail from anywhere on that too (ie from computers and not just other NTL e-mail accounts).

It should work! My friend uses an ntl one and it works fine.

It's completely free. It's just the same as sending an e-mail to another computer so unless you usually have to pay to send e-mails to other computers (unlikely I'd have thought) then it costs nothing. Dh usually e-mails me from work through ours and I'm also on a few e-mail forums.
