Well number one for me and has been since it's release, Like A Prayer by Madonna it makes me tingle when it comes on (but don't tell anyone!).

Number 2 is Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding?

and Number 3 is Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis.

Best for jumping around the kitchen when you are getting legless on your bppmm's (best post pregnancy mummy mate)hen night at home having dinner with the girlies type thing:- The Source featuring Candi Staton You've Got the Love (i think that is what it's called but we were arseholed and it was 4.30am - and yes, the kids woke up at 6).
Also History by The Verve (not for the above situation, far too heavy).
Massive Attack Unfinished Symphony/sympathy or whatever it's called.
Turin Brakes album - virtually all of it bar a couple of tracks in the middle (heard this months ago and tried to put a bet on it winning the mercury prize as thought I would be able to get brilliant odds as debut album etc etc - but no bookie would take my money until the nominations were announced... and lo and behold they have been nominated and now the odds are crap)
Radiohead - The Bends - the entire album
Pretty much anything featuring Lauren Hill.
I could go on - but Eastenders is about to start on Choice. (Thank God I hear you cry).

Well, I just simply couldn't do it... so tonights 3 are Leonard Cohen Take this longing; Texas So in Love with You; & Billie Holiday They can't take that away from me...

others that you've already mentioned and I love are Mel's Perfect Skin, (Lloyd Cole et al) and Fall at your feet (Crowded House); Bron's Without you (Neilsson) and Crazy (Patsy Cline); Star Hurricane (Dylan) is brill but I simply can't choose one alltime Dylan track; and Rhiannon Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay (Otis Reading) is just so good!... Could go on, and on but instead I'll mention another 3 another day as I've not yet mentioned Garbage, Portishead, the Verve, Alison Moyet, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Joan Osborne, the Manics, Judy Garland, Jimi Hendrix, & John Hooker or Bizet's Carmen or Verdi's Requiem!!! Ooooh... I'll shut up now... I knew I couldn't limit it and I am sure that mre than any other thing that I've posted on this website this post alone will betray my identity to those who know me...who mentioned eclectic tastes in music?
