Well number one for me and has been since it's release, Like A Prayer by Madonna it makes me tingle when it comes on (but don't tell anyone!).

Number 2 is Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding?

and Number 3 is Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis.

Can we have three per day? My three today are:
1)Thank You or Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin (can't decide)
2)Classic Girl by Jane's Addiction
3)The Day I Tried To Live or Jesus Christ Pose by Soungarden (can't make my mind up there either)
This is too hard - I'll post again tommorow. Great thread by the way Rhiannon.

Rhiannon · 09/08/2001 14:16

I know have given the 3 I love but I just need to add the bit in Riverdance when they start tapping all at once and the music starts really banging. Sorry no musical training but I'm sure somebody knows which bit I mean.

That's how strong my love is - Otis Redding
Desolation Row - Bob Dylan

Oh no, I can't do it! other songs keep popping up!. Suffice to say anything by the Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, oh it just goes on and on......

Oh the Rainbow Connection! How well remembered Bron! I'll be singing that all day now..."the lovers, the dreamers and meeee!" Kermit rocks! I'm off on my Hols to Dublin today so will have to think about my favourites while on the ferry (may stop me from hurling - I hate ferries!) 'See' you all soon......byeeeee

Wornout · 10/08/2001 10:34

Just to add my two penneth:-
Red Red Wine - UB40
Three Little Birds - Bob Marley
Radio GaGa - Queen
2 out of 3 ain't bad - Meat Loaf

Showing my age but still loving the 80's very pleased on latest No 1 in charts!

Jodee · 10/08/2001 11:19

Sorry, Wornout, but it just proves what total lack of talent and imagination these girl/boy bands have - ripping off an old 80s song just because their current (under 10) audience are too young to remember the original!
Apologies for the ranting!
