the set meal plus half a bottle of wine each will be £33.19 each.

it doesnt include service - you pay the restaurant when you arrive. the cheque will be handed back to me if you all turn up

I'm in. I'm going to splash out on a cab to take me there and pick me up. I shall therefore arrive pristine and perfumed , having avoided the mucky thing that is public transport.

Good idea to have the price worked out in advance. Saves all that 'I had the starter, but no wine' malarkey. And if anyone doesn't want their wine, I'll have it.
