What does your 5 year old girl play with ?

My DD is going to be 5 soon, she isn't into anything as such and mostly likes to draw and write.

I am trying to get ideas what to buy her for her birthday asnd i am fed up of buying things i think she will like then they are not played with.

Any ideas will be great ?

I was going to say that my dd doesn't play with any toys at all, she just draws and does other crafts....

We got her an old style school desk for Christmas for in her bedroom.

We also have a craft area which consists of an IKEA coffee table and a bookcase with different craft things which she can access on her own. She has glue sticks, stapler, pom-poms, box of old wrapping paper, egg boxes etc

She likes the Hama beads sets and sticky mosaics
