DS is 9 weeks old and we're hoping to take him swimming for the first time, when we go on our hols in a couple of weeks. The problem is I've bought some swim nappies but they are from 16lb upwards, and ds is currently only 13lb 4.
Just wondered if anyone had any idea's,as I dont want the nappy to fall off in the pool.

TIA.

they should be ok. Put them over some swimming shorts with nappy lining or over swimming nappy shorts. try them on him before you go if they are too big maybe you might have to buy some smaller ones!

put them under sorry not over that would look silly haha

is it the elasticated swim nappies?

When my ds was little I bought a thin material swim nappy that came in xs sizes and put that over the top of the normal swim nappy to hold it on.

laughinglil-i think i got the smallest size they do.i'll have a look in mothercare for some swimming shorts to go over the top if you think that'll help.

tracyk-they are elasticated at the sides(huggies, little swimmers!) and they look huge.might also see if i can get a material nappy, then.

thanks

I got my swimming nappy off the internet - I will have a look and see if I still have it - but prob not - he hasn't used it for about 6 months.
