Is it me or are there others out there who are frustrated by never having a quiet moment with their spouse (if you get what i mean)

YES - particularly when mines away from home all bloody week.

maybe it's because we spend too much time on mumsnet?

Having complained about him playing golf most evenings this week, DH is watching TV in the front room and I'm on Mumsnet. Well, I'm pretending to do the NCT newsletter I'm meant to be working on.

Perhaps you're right, my husband is currently wandering around like a lost sheep but having just got both the kids to bed i'm not fit for much else - all my earlier plans are now out the window after an evening of struggling to get my 22 month old to finally go to bed! There's always tomorrow! You poor thing with your husband away all week.

When we do get a quiet moment we are so knackered we forget to have "quiet moment" and just crash out.

I know the feeling! either that or one of our little angels decides to wake at a not so good time! We just seem to live with the thought that it will happen again one day!!
