to get silicone sealer of my bathroom sink and elsewhere? Had a real cowboy fitting my new bathroom and this is the result!

I think you can buy stuff that sort of dissolves it.
Or for a more painstaking way get a very sharp knife or razor blade and scrap it off.....abit dangerous though.

Try B&Q or similar DIY shop and they will surely help.

Screwfix.co.uk sells it. It's called Silicone Eater.

I thought if you loosened one end, got hold of it and pulled gently it would peel off, in a very satisfactory way (like scabs) (sorry!)

Might leave scraps behind though.
