Bored indoors!

I think if i watch one more episode of Balamory or blasted Tweenies i'm going to scream. Trying to entertain a nearly two year old whilst giving attention to a newborn stuck indoors because of rain is beoming a bit of a bore.
I've done drawing, painting etc etc and am dreading the afternoon ahead. Have begun potty training today so the chances of going out to find a rain-free zone aren't really on the agenda. Anyone else bored or get any suggestions to help me through the day?

Mine are very bored as well.
Pull a stool or little chair to the kitchen sink, fill it with warm soapy water and any plastic utensils you own, and give your two year old a sponge and ask him/her to wash up. That will keep him/her occupied for at least half an hour, he/she will make a HUGE mess but hey - its only water!

Cheers for that i will give it a go - who knows if she tips loads of water on the floor maybe she could give that a wash too!

Old cardboard boxes, mine seem to love them anyway!

Cellotape or stickers. Fridge magnets. Pipe insulation. Carpet roll tubes. Dusters. My kids get a stupid amount of entertainment out of playing with these things.

But best of all, invite friends 'round to keep you & your 2yo company.

I know I'm a philistine but I have a good supply of Disney! Nowhere near as annoying a the telletubbies, the kids love them and I am calm! (I don't have them plugged in to the tv all the time but if we have cbeebies on I end up going to bed singing "What's the story in Balamory!"
