Sorry its me again! Husbands gran turning 90 at end of august. She is having a party in the village hall and really wants us to go but it is 4 or 5 hours drive and we have a 2yr old and 8 week old and husband is against going. The best gift would be our attendance but if we cannot go any gift needs to be special. She is fairly housebound but has a large circle of local friends and family who will definitely go to the bash. Something off the internet wld be perfect as i am home looking after toddler and breastfeeding but am aware that a photo of greatgrandchildren etc might be what is called for if i can only organise it. however any suggestions v gratefully received. Budget up to 100 - 150 of husbands money....

For my grans 100th, we got a plate made to go on her wall from her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Basically said happy birthday and had all our names. Wasn't that pricey and easy to organize. I also bought Granny a broch made in the year of her birth which was easy to buy off Ebay. Good luck...

You could do one of these 'name a star' things after her. Or 'name a rose' then you can all plant cuttings from the rose bush in your own gardens too.
