Where do you store your wrapping paper and accompanying present-wrapping paraphenalia?!

Mine seems to drift around getting more and more crumpled. I need a SOLUTION!

i buy rolls of wrapping paper and keep them in a long thin bag hung on a hook on the back of my understairs cupboard. I also have a drawer with other wrapping things/cards in.

kid · 24/08/2005 11:40

Under the stairs, along with everything else of course!
Can't get to any of it though, plus I have no idea of exactly what is in there!

I think there may be some in the loft and airing cupboard too.

compo · 24/08/2005 11:41

In the bottom drawer of my bedside cabinet

acnebride · 24/08/2005 11:49

Present wrapping room treacletart? I keep mine in the present wrapping wing.

I keep a large roll of neutral (i.e. boring, but does for everything) wrapping paper behind the ironing, the unfitted cupboard doors, and dh's spare briefcases in the area which will become a cupboard once Keith has got back to us about fitting a shorter radiator so that Juma can come and fit the doors to the cupboard, which would currently bump into the old radiator.

Sellotape and scissors are in an old pewter pot on top of the piano with loads of non-working pens.

Organisation is an illusion - give in to the chaos.

babaworshipper · 24/08/2005 11:56

In a suit carrier hanging up in the wardrobe. Works great!

Nightynight · 24/08/2005 12:13

at this thread.

babaworshipper thats a brilliant idea. I just need a house big enough so that I can go out and get a wardrobe with hanging space now.

PeachyClair · 24/08/2005 12:52

Chucked randomly at the back of the understairs cupboard, between the suitcase and the old car seat of course

SaintGeorge · 24/08/2005 13:12

In a very handy storage bag, complete with little section for tape and scissors. £2.99 Betterware.

morningpaper · 24/08/2005 13:23

Ooooh now you are talking.

Don't have Betterware around here though... are there any other purveyors of suitable storage?

Sounds like you need to become a Betterware distributor mp!!

SaintGeorge · 25/08/2005 17:58

MP, if you want one let me know. I am a rep and can get one for you.

desperatehousewife · 25/08/2005 18:22

I decided to buy a whole new house to store mine in. The wrapping room just wasn't big enough! Mine's in an old cardboard box in the cellar. But i'm liking the idea of a special wrapping paper and tape storage system!

Surfermum · 25/08/2005 18:38

The Betterware storage bag is fab. I've got that for my paper, bows and tags, and a box under the bed with gift bags, tissue paper, etc. Birthday banners, balloons and party poppers are kept in there too.

BethAndHerBrood · 25/08/2005 18:46

I am in awe of anyone who has unused partypoppers in their house!!

We just pop and don't stop!!!! Till they're all gone, anyway!!!!

niceglasses · 25/08/2005 18:49

And I am in awe of anyone who has wrapping paper before the day of the bday etc - I'm usually running to the shop to buy some an hour before the party..........your'e all mad, or maybe its me thats mad..........
