Replacement remote control.....

Will the manufacturers supply them or do you have to buy them from them or am I going to hjave to buy a new dvd player??

I can't find ours anywhere since we moved. I swear we didn't leave it behind!! It's driving me mad that we can't watch dvd's without it!!

hi swiperfox we got a dvd player to take on hols ,we left remote on plane,my dh rang manufacturers they told him that modal didn,y come with remote,he explained it did but we lost it and wanted to buy a new one, but they just keeped telling him same story.we just can,t get anywhere it,s a goodmans,hope you have better luck.

YOu can get a universal one from electrical stored like Curreys etc

You can get replacement remotes from Partsmaster online. Excellent service - delivery within a couple of days - but as has been pointed out - remote controls are expensive.

You can often get brand new remote controls on Ebay for a fraction of the price. I bought a cable remote for a few pounds.

i have seen universal remotes in poundland before..not sure if they would work, but it's worth risking a pound to find out.
failing that, the ebay idea was a good one

I got one in poundstretcher for £3 I think and it works fine . This was for the TV but I'm sure that it would work for a DVD player as well.

I bought one in Argos for 9.99 - was useless. Took it back. Got one in the pound shop today - works a treat!!
