ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

13 weeks pregnant.

Been in loo/in bed all weekend and yesterday with food poisoning.

Text comes "I'm going to Wayne's tonight, or he's coming here - ok?"

WTF????

No its not ok! This is the first day I've been capable of caring for DD since Friday night, and I'm exhausted already... was looking forward to him getting home so I can collapse.

BUT - since I went out lots last week, and I made him cancel his night out on saturday (he'd been looking forward to it for ages)... I haven't the heart to say no!

Does he seriously think its a good idea though, or does he just not care enough about me to think that I might be feeling like c$£p and just want a hug????

That's men for you, can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em!!!

Mytwopenceworth · 23/08/2005 14:21

yes you can, you just have to make it look like an accident.

Or say your 10yr old son did it!

BethAndHerBrood · 23/08/2005 14:22

I don't have a 10 year old son, could i blame it on my 7 year old?

Mytwopenceworth · 23/08/2005 14:23

yup, 7 is good, below the age of responsibility or whatever it's called. Sorted!

flamesparrow · 23/08/2005 14:23

I was thinking "Oooh, he tripped and fell onto the pencil that DD left pointing up at an odd angle (she does tend to do that)"...

Don't I get some sort of diminished responsibility through pregnancy hormones?

ds1 left his skateboard at the top of the stairs and, whoops, dh went headlong, all the way down?????

Mytwopenceworth · 23/08/2005 14:25

I think it's actually encouraged flamesparrow!!

BethAndHerBrood · 23/08/2005 14:25

Of course, you'd have to sharpen the shit out of the pencil in the first place, but i could manage that!!

£12.99 beth!!

Flamesparrow - so when your dh comes home and find you huddled over a pencil sharpener, a wild gleam in your eye and muttering darkly to yourself d'you think he might reconsider his plans!!!!!

BethAndHerBrood · 23/08/2005 14:31

LOL at the thought of flamesparrow "huddled over a pencil sharpener"!!!!!

flamesparrow · 23/08/2005 18:49

Saw sense, and cancelled

And that was without pencil sharpening....
