My friend and I have decided to start up the cleaning business I posted about last week but Im having trouble thinking of names that arent already taken. So far Ive come up with The Gleam Team which appears to be a cleaning company in Poole! So being as though Katiemac got her name from MN can you come up with some ideas for me ....

are you setting up your business as a limited company? if not, you don't need to register with companies house and you can have Gleam Team anyway

jampots · 24/08/2005 14:28

Try and work out why your company is going to be different or better than other cleaning companies in your area and try to reflect that in your branding. Ideas: Faster, Friendlier, More thourogh, more reliable, cheaper. ut you cant emphasise all of these, choose maybe the 2 that are most important to you

You dont have to have a direct reference to cleaning in the company name - You may prefer to use an almost abstract simple memorable name that reflects your company's values, All the better if the name lends itself well to a funky friendly logo.

You can always make it clear that you are a cleaning company with a line under your company name

Examples
"Rocket" is fast thourogh and I think quite funky
"Bright Star", Shiny and friendly perhaps a little hippy alternative
"Lime" Fresh, modern, quite trendy

you get the picture....
