hiya. I am new to the site. My fiance & I have a 2.5 yr old boy, he will be starting nursery in September. I have always wanted 2 children so I would like 1 more, but my partener doesnt want another 1. Mainly due to our son not being the greatest sleeper and he is very demanding. I also had post-natal depression with him so that has put my fiance off aswell.
My son loves being around other children.
Anyone else going through the same thing or any advice????? x

Hi there, have you seen this thread. I think it covers a lot of the issues you raise. I'm a one-by-choicer so afraid can't you give any advice but you're certainly not alone in this topic.

Hope that helps

I feel the same. Would love another LO (to magically appear at the age of 3) to play with my 4 year old. DS also was not a good sleeper, and was extremely clingy during the day. It was so exhausting that I swore I'd never go through that. I felt like walking out on my marriage (it was not PND) it was lack of sleep and unable to put the baby down. Didn't have much help from anyone and dh didn't/couldn't help.

I keep looking at other families where they have 2 or 3 and find the way the children play together so utterly adorable. We had never planned to have only one. Dh and I are both from large families and it feels incomplete. [SAD] Will I always feel like this?

No advice -sorry. But I'm with you blondie xx
