Two harder than one?

Thinking about having a second. Heard mixed reviews, but is having another harder than just having one? Once they're past the infant stage they should entertain each other somewhat surely?

Of course it’s harder. Different needs, different interests, different schedules. Age gap challenges- not sharing, squabbling etc. Logistical challenges of nursery and school pick up. Of course there are positives aspects too but anyone who says otherwise is a liar 😂. One child and two parents is easy streets.

(I have one of my own , through choice, but I’m a nanny so I have lots of experience of caring for more than one)

Yes it’s harder as more to organise etc but correct also that they play with each other . Definitely nicer having two, in my opinion

They do entertain each other but also they fight and telltales on each other. Age difference also means you will need to think about logistics in terms of clubs play date etc. nevertheless, it’s nice for the kids to have siblings. I don’t think it will make your life easier but it’s more about the family life you want to have the second child.

Of course it's harder, it's literally looking after a whole extra person. Yes, in theory they can entertain in each but they also will fight, argue etc! I don't the transition itself to two is as hard as you are already living a life with a child.

It's considerably harder so depends how much you want more than one really. It will also depend on the specific children involved, of course.
