Have you ever moved your only child school and how was it?

I want to move home to our home town and considering a move from reception into year 1 in a different school back in our home town

How did a change in schoool go for you and your child ?

Following as I may be doing this next year. Also have an only.

@daisychainrose oooh can I ask the reason for your decision ?? Is it a relocation or a dislike to the school ?

We have just moved our daughter, so she has started year 6 in a new school. We had had enough of the badly behaved kids and poor teaching at her old school. Old school was 4 form entry, so v big. New school is small (mixed year groups) village school. Very different but she has settled well and no regrets.
