Too much capol

My son had his BCG today and ive just realised that at 2.30pm i gave him 5ml calpol instead of 2.5ml (he's 14 weeks tomorrow) i am beside myself. He seems his normal self and nothing out of the ordanairy. Can anyone help? TIA x

Ring 111. You'll just worry all night otherwise

I only have experience from my own accidental overdose and calling 111 but I think that amount he would be fine, so do not overly worry. However I would always call 111 to double check.

Yes, call 111. Do you know how much baby weighs? They can work out levels of toxicity from weight:dosage (but I am sure all will be well).

And don’t feel too bad. I did this myself, and a doctor friend did the sum for me.
