How Did Everyone Meet Other Mums

I had my son in March last year and was hoping that there would be chance to go to baby groups as he got a bit older. As time has gone on I've realised we've missed out on meeting baby's around his age and other mums. He's now too old to join classes for baby's and although I probably should have looked online before I have been focusing on fill my sons days. I was just wondering how others have met local mums and baby's. I realise we are coming out of lock down but there still aren't a lot of groups open in my area, especially on the days I'm free. Thanks

I didn't stay in touch with any of the Mums I met on maternity leave. We all just went back to work and lost contact. I am however very good friends with other mums from DC's nursery - less so with other parents from school. Toddler groups in my area were for children up to school age. As your son gets older you might consider swimming or tumble tots which is another way to meet other parents. You'll also meet other parents in your local park.

I didn’t meet any other mums. I had friends before I had DS and I don’t need new ones that specifically have same aged children.
I work full time and DS is in full time nursery. I say hi and have a brief chat with other mums/dads whilst dropping off/collecting/when we see them in the park.

Local Facebook groups, nursery parents, school parents. Set up a meet and invite people. Making friends is fairly easy but you have to be bold!

There are plenty of grips that cater for older children try franchises like Rhythm time it goes right up to pre-school age and ad it is a franchise they operate nationwide! Having said that must if my mum friends are from pre-school and then school! Xx

Nursery mums (though that took a little bit longer), and my own friends with children.

I tried a few baby classes but never found any like minded mums. It all started at nursery. I finally met some great gals
