Clock watching for hometime

LO has started nursery full time this term. I'm so happy for him because all he wanted was to make friends to play with. I've missed his so much all day, I've tried to keep myself busy with jobs but still feel that gut wrenching feeling when I think about him. I can't wait to go and collect him at hometime and give him a cuddle. Feel so lost without him. Anyone else feel like this

I haven't taken my DS to nursery yet as I'm still on maternity leave for another 5 months but I'm DREADING dropping him off. I feel like I could cry how just thinking about it! He will only be 9 months but I have no choice, I've got to go back to work!
Whilst I'm not in your position just yet I do totally get where you're coming from.
I'm taking my DS to nursery the week before I go back to work so I have a week of crying into my cushion at home all day for leaving him there so I'm not a mess by the time I go back to work! 🤣
Separation anxiety exists with us parents not just the kids! Sounds to me like your boy is having a fab time though! 👍🏻
