Well where are you based?

After being on forlough and being made redundant from my earlier job, I am finally back and working. We were meant to be on a holiday visiting family in India but that obviously ain't happening. I am guessing it will be an overdose of Roblox, Lego, and Youtube for 9 year old DD interspersed with Facetime with her friends.

Lockdown has made her finally able to keep herself entertained.

I have an only 8 year old boy too, we've said we'll:
Play lego and board games and bake me a birthday cake.
Collect autumn leaves and make a cute YouTube video of the cats playing in them (not sure the cats know they're involved yet!!)
Do a stop animation project.
Have a Halloween Zoom party.
Decorate our garden for Halloween and peg little party bags to the trees so local children can "trick or treat" without knocking on the door or rummaging through a shared tub.
Do some Halloween craft.
Visit a WW 2 bunker that we have tickets for.
Go to the pictures
Go to an outdoor adventure centre with crazy golf.
Put our wellies on and find the mud in the local woods.

Those are our plans up until now..... it could easily all change!

@ChristmasinJune

Some brilliant ideas here! Especially like this one...

My DD is 8 and this half term we're going to do a lot of Halloween baking

Attempt an autumn reef

Walk in the woods

Open the Lego sets she got for her birthday

Decorate pumpkins

Plenty of walks

And potentially an extra horse riding lesson
