I currently a little boy who turned 2 in January. I am not with his father and he doesn't have or want much to do with him anymore. I am with someone who has taken on my son as his own, this even includes his parents and grandparents taking him on as their grand/great grandson. My partner has now expressed he wants to expand our family and have one more. I am on the fence as I had so much happen with his birth father, which included court, him having to see him in a contact centre before he had another child and slowly started to give up on mine.
I guess I'm just looking for advice on 3 year age gaps if we did start trying? And if anyone has had a similar situation with a dramatic custody battle and now fearing the worst of anything like that happening again.
