Depends how small his room is. My parents had the smallest room with the logic that they're never really in their room but I wouldn't have really cared if I had the small room

In would Swap rooms definitely. I have the same thought our son is only 1, but i have said to my hubby if we don't have the extension I have planned we will be swapping room when he gets a little bit older. My thinking is he won't he won't be able to take his mates to his room and play or happily get all his toys out to play. I grew up in a bigger sized house and really appreciated the size of my bedroom so would like to it for my son if poss,

My daughter has the bigger bedroom. I sleep in my room, she plays, builds Lego, crafts, does homework, sings and dances. She definitely needs the space more than I do.
