DH wants another

This may be a long one..... So we have a 7 year old DD and 4 years ago my DH got diagnosed with a brain tumour, he's had surgery and is fine even though there's a little still there but it's not cancerous. He basically told me back then that he wouldn't want to leave me on my own (he thought he was going to die in the next couple of years) to manage two kids so having another was never an option. At the time I was upset but I knew deep down that he was being sensible. I've got on with the fact that DD won't have a brother or sister. Now out of the blue DH wants to have another, probably due to the fact that he's recently been to see his consultant and everything is still the same and stable. I'm so confused! I've got used to the fact that we were/are a family of 3. I'm 35 have diabetes and a few other health problems, so I'm worried about conceiving and something being wrong seeing at it would be a high risk
Pregnancy, Plus there would be an 8 year age gap between DD and the next.

Hi :-)
This is hurrendous, sorry to hear about your situation :-(
At the risk of sounding harsh it's really simple... don't have a baby if you don't want one, or are you undecided ?
