Sex after C Section

I had my daughter three weeks ago now via C Section and my scar has healed really well. I know it's advised that you don't have sex until at least six weeks, but I'm kind of feeling up to it but equally so don't want to damage the scar healing process... has anybody got any experiences they can share / advice on what to do?

I think I waited around a couple of months (more from exhaustion than anything else) and found the pulling from scar tissue uncomfortable. I couldn't have attempted it at 3 weeks - still had to roll to sit up as stomach muscles were wreaked, and the whole area was just to tender and swollen (had a big yellow bruise)- had to put pillow over scar in case baby kicked me when bf.

My scar felt completely healed at this point too. I still waited till six weeks because you're not completely healed on the inside it's not worth hurting yourself over three weeks!!
